From Arnhem Land to Antarctica, Dr Rhys Harding has always searched for adventure. Now, the UOW graduate has certainly found it, as the only doctor on the ground at a research station in Antartica.

This is what grief looks like
It鈥檚 2005, Chloe is 17 years old. She鈥檚 at home with her mum in the Western suburbs of Sydney. She鈥檚 studying at the kitchen table. It鈥檚 her final year of the HSC, so she has given the annual family ski trip a miss. It鈥檚 Sunday, her dad and two younger sisters should be driving home from the snow now. The day is growing old though and they have not yet returned.

Solving Schizophrenia
Distinguished Professor Xu-Feng Huang is a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Leadership Fellow who received a 2019 NHMRC Investigator grant for schizophrenia research. With 252 scholarly publications under his belt, which have been cited over 12,955 times by scientists in over 93 countries*, he is considered a world expert.
